We started this because small business deserved better software.
One of us ran a small retail shop before this. The email software cost more each month than the postage, read like it was built for a marketing team of fifty, and billed in US dollars that shifted every time the exchange rate did.
The moment that decided it was an afternoon lost wrestling a logo into a template that wouldn't sit straight, followed by an evening spent sending a plain text newsletter because the tool had won. Customers didn't notice. We did.
